Vivid Games qualified to receive nearly PLN 8.7 million in grants from the GameINN program. The Company was awarded funding to realize 2 additional projects from the National Center for Research and Development:
1. "Developing a game prototype using the model of interaction of the environment and motor vehicles in real time on mobile platforms based on physical simulation algorithms." Total Value PLN 6.3 million. Co-financing amount: PLN 4.2 million
The project will develop a playable prototype of a unique games focused on motor vehicles, based on competition, using the model of real interaction of the environment and motor vehicles, calculated in real time on mobile platforms.
2. "Developing an innovative IT system enabling real-time adjustment of the game level, in several dimensions players’ characteristics and for various game genres." Total Value 6.7 million PLN. Co-financing: nearly PLN 4.5 million
The project will develop an innovative IT system in a client-server architecture that adapts and generates on-going, real-time game difficulty levels adjustment (adapter and generator) based on the collected analytical data based on each player's skills and abilities. As a result of R & D work on the resulting difficulty adapter and a real-time level generator, game prototypes will be created (in the UE4 or Unity engines).
In the second edition of the tender competition announced by NCBiR, PLN 100 million was allocated.
