The company sees an opportunity for an upturn after the vacations.
Revenues generated by Vivid Games' portfolio in August are similar to those in July. The company expects, based on previous years' data, that digital entertainment audience engagement will increase during the fall and winter, which will positively affect sales, including games. The net result for August was PLN 0.02 million, and EBITDA cumulatively for eight months reaches PLN 2.7 million. In August, the Company practically completed the arrangement, prepaying the last installment for the bonds.
"The results for August are in line with our expectations. We continue to feel the effects of the seasonal decline in user engagement. We anticipate that starting in September, player engagement will gradually increase, due to the end of the vacations" - emphasizes Piotr Gamracy, CEO of Vivid Games. "In August we practically finalized the bonds arrangement, paying off the last installment. For the Company, this is a symbol of the closure of old issues and a new beginning. We are intensively developing the Real Boxing 3 prototype and the Easy Boxing game being developed in cooperation with Boombit. I believe that the meetings held during Gamescom will soon bring further opportunities, which we will be happy to announce" - adds the CEO.
