Vivid Games is entering into a partnership with VR Factory.
Vivid Games has reached a preliminary agreement with VR Factory, under which Real Boxing 3 will undergo technical verification for the possibility of releasing the game in a VR version. Within two months, it will become clear how much work will be required to prepare the port. Management is betting on expanding the brand's universe.
“We see great potential for Real Boxing 3, including on platforms dedicated to VR. We are intensively developing the mobile versions so that the polish will reach users as early as possible. However, we want the title to expand its reach by diversifying to more hardware platforms. We have verified the initial conditions for the development of the VR port on our own, but the VR Factory team are specialists in the field of virtual reality, so we decided to give them priority in a possible cooperation” - emphasizes Piotr Gamracy, CEO of Vivid Games.
The agreement is another deal this year that could ultimately benefit Vivid Games' revenues and increase the value and enhance the image of the studio's key brand, Real Boxing. In January, a deal was signed with QubicGames to develop more ports of Real Boxing 2, which will bring a remastered version of the title to PC users and Xbox and Playstation consoles in the middle of this year. In turn, a week ago, the signing of a letter of intent was announced with an American mobile game developer interested in acquiring the rights to the mobile version of Real Boxing 2.
